Blendex factory was established in 1991 and is one of Bouri Group’s subsidiaries. It specializes in the manufacturing & assembly of small domestic appliances in Egypt such as gas water heaters and stainless steel cookware. The company produces under the brand license from Mienta (SDAs) and Lavita (cookware), its range of products cover the following categories: food preparation, home & linen care, gas water heaters and cookware.
The factory has 8 production lines for electrical appliances, another for gas water heaters and a separate production area dedicated to the pressing and polishing of stainless steel pots and pans. The work done in the factory includes plastic injection molding, metal stamping, metal pressing & polishing, assembly and silkscreen printing. Its yearly capacity exceeds 350,000 units with expansion plans to double these figures by 2018.
