The Engineering Export Council of Egypt (EEC) was formed in 1997 as an advisory body to the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade with the objective of fostering engineering exports to international markets, and attracting foreign direct investment that can contribute to export development.

The Council strategy focuses on defining target markets, target products and expand our presence worldwide, by acting in a proactive approach to reach new markets and expand in the current ones through a range of services, which include preparing market studies for potential markets, organizing inward and outward trade missions for key markets,participating in international fairs and exhibitions, benefiting from the Export Incentive Scheme offered by the Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade
