The UG Series are based on a proven G1.6, G2.5 and G4 measurement unit, combined with an electronic index and isolation valve.
The meter uses RS-485 wired network to link with the head-end system or via communications hub.
Basic, prepaid and postpaid modes of operation are supported. The meter can be remotely switched between modes through its operational life.
The accounting method for the prepaid meter is fully consistent with the accounting method for the mechanical Gas meter with Additional functionality device AFD model1.
The meter data is transferred via the customer card.
